Mia's Life

My name is Mia Groves, and I’m a sixteen-year-old girl from just north of Dallas, Texas. I am the middle child of two sisters and two massive golden doodles. Growing up in a sport-driven household, I’ve spent much of my life playing volleyball. This year I decided to leave the only place I’ve ever known as home and go on an exchange year to Italy. Now, I’m living with a wonderful Italian family in Padova, located just 10 minutes from Venice. Immersing myself in a new culture, learning the language, and meeting incredible people, I’m also attending a scientific high school here. My passions include: cooking, travelling, writing, and trying new things. Through my posts, I hope to inspire others to step outside their comfort zones and discover the amazing possibilities life has to offer.
